I set out to create an artwork that combined low-poly art and realistic 3D visuals. The first phase was selecting the general style I wanted to attain. Low-poly art has simpler forms and fewer features, giving it a distinct look, but genuine 3D graphics require precise details for lifelike images.

To combine these different approaches, I started by drawing the primary pieces of my composition in a low-poly format. To keep the typical simplicity of low-poly art, simple geometric forms were created, and the number of polygons was reduced accordingly. The goal was to preserve the substance of the subject while sticking to artistic limits.

Once I was pleased with the low-poly base, I began working on improving the project’s realism. This step required precise attention, as I applied textures and improved the surfaces of the 3D models. The attention to detail in texture mapping allowed me to include subtleties that resembled real-world materials, increasing the overall realism of the images.

Lighting was essential in attaining the ideal blend of low-poly aesthetics and realistic sights. I intentionally arranged lights to produce shadows and highlights, adding dimension to the scene. Lighting was carefully balanced to highlight the simplicity of low-poly pieces while also bringing a sense of reality to the scene.

By the end of my Blender project, I had successfully navigated the complexities of combining low-poly art and realistic 3D visuals. The combination of simplicity and intricacy resulted in a visually appealing artwork that demonstrates artistic expression in 3D space.
